ABOUT
Computational Physics Consultants, LLC., started in 2023 in an effort to make accessible a vast wealth of computational experiences and skills developed during the course of some 25 years in the basic research sector.
Dr. Ricardo Yanez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics in 1991 at Uppsala University, a Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry and Nuclear Physics in 1996 at the same University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Oregon State University in 2022. Dr. Yanez has made contributions to science in topics like the dynamics of extremely hot nuclear matter, the dynamics and energetics of fission and the search for new mechanisms to synthesize new elements.
Dr. Yanez has worked in Australia, Germany, Sweden and the United States, and done experiments at the following accelerator facilities: LANCE at Los Alamos National Laboratory, GANIL, France, UD14 Tandem, Australian National University, the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility (HRIBF) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, ATLAS at Argonne National Laboratory, the National Superconducting Cyclotron Facility (NSCL), TRIUMF, Canada, and the TRIGA Reactor at Oregon State University.
Dr. Yanez has been developing innovative data analysis methods, scientific computational methods and Monte Carlo simulations throughout his career.
